Wriggly Tin Huts are completely off-grid and the décor of soft linens, enamel and copper kitchenware casts you back into a simpler age. Butser, named after the highest point in the area, is a two person hut that Alex has designed with charm and efficiency, making the most of the space: the high bed has storage underneath. Showers and loos are shared with the the other three huts at Wriggly Tin, and are housed in, unsurprisingly, another even more cunningly converted shepherd’s hut. The meadow is wide, and you’re far enough apart to feel on your own, with your personal fire pit, tripod, cast iron griddle and plenty of wood and kindling for some daring experiments in campfire cooking.
Sawday’s Canopy & Stars is an inspected and selected collection of outdoor holiday experiences with a dash of eco-panache; treehouses, hay lofts, Gypsy caravans, converted horsetrucks and all sorts of glamping oddness. There’s even an Iron Age roundhouse or two! Call us on 0117 204 7830 or visit http://www.canopyandstars.co.uk
